For those of us who are old-school Star Wars fans, this is a wonderful costume for the ladies. I wore it with white leggings and white snow boots (those are the only white boots I have.) I got many compliments from the parent-generation. The kids? Not so much. They had no idea who I was. They are into the new-school Star Wars: Clone Wars. Many of those kids were even dressed in Star Wars costumes!! But they had no idea who I was.
The costume comes with dress, belt, wig. It does not come with the gogo boots or the blaster.
I got so many compliments! The belt is a rubbery material and sticks on with velcro. It stayed on just fine; it really completed the look & made it look suddenly like Princess Leia! The wig had a horrible part on it, I think it’s synthetic hair (which is fine with me personally) and it really didn’t look good at all. But it was good enough for me at the price point. I didn’t want to spend more. This costume will be the costume of choice for me for probably the next 10 years of my life! It was pretty flattering too. I’m a very curvy woman with a bit of a belly from having given birth and not doing Heidi Klum-worthy situps to get rid of it. But it was still flattering. I wear a small/medium in real dresses these days; I ordered a Medium in this costume only because I wanted to make sure it would be flattering & fit my larger curves.
My husband LOVEs the costume. He felt like he should dress like Han Solo! Maybe next year!
I also like that it’s white – so when Trick-Or-Treating in the dark – it’s very visible for the plethora of driving cars going by. A wise choice for a momma escorting her Trick-or-Treaters.
